3LEAF” IRISH POWDERED MILK FORMULAE

Canofield was approached to develop; brand and assist in launching a private label Kids Nutritional Milk Powder and Senior Nutritional Powder formulae for the US and the ecommerce cross border China marketplace.

Canofield identified an Irish based internationally accredited manufacturer of high quality milk powdered nutrition. Through Canofield engaging with the clients and preparing a well defined ‘route to market’ plan, working with the manufacturer a number of formulas were successfully developed with samples and branding options presented to the interested US and Chinese buyers. Once the formulae had been sampled by international tasting panels with the resulting feedback accepted, the taste profiles and three flavours were selected to progress to e-commerce and bricks and mortar stores for trial.

CANOFIELD MENA

(Middle East and North Africa)

Fine Hygienic Group FZE, a company based in the United Arab Emirates was introduced through Canofield’s UAE representative is a Middle Eastern based, circa $1billion turnover vertically integrated business that manufactures, markets, and distributes superior hygienic paper products mostly in the MENA region. It employs over 4,000 people across five countries in 11 locations. It has been trading for 60+ years. Its EBITDA is in the order of $75m.

As well as its core business it has other interests including natural beverages and a disinfectant solution service for businesses. Fine is a well known brand in the MENA region. Fine made no secret of their ambitions to grow their business throughout the USA. Canofield was tasked to assist in the development of a market entry plan and select a preferred distributor to exclusively import, market, sell and distribute for resale their range of products within the Territory.

Canofield worked with Fine to carry out a ‘readiness’ due diligence on their business (including their products regulatory status); prepare & made a presentation of their offering to a potential distribution partner; negotiate and agree legal and commercial terms for the distribution of their products across the whole of North America plus worldwide eCommerce (including Amazon Prime++; specialist high end beauty sites and big name retailers) coverage utilising East Coast USA as the hub. The first orders are expected in Q4 2021.
